Jennifer Shepherd is a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience in healthcare, specializing in chronic pain, aging, and holistic recovery. She earned her nursing degree from Hesston College in Kansas, whose nursing program was ranked #2 in the nation in 2013 among vocational and community nursing schools — a testament to its clinical rigor and excellence in patient-centered training.
She is the founder of Nurse of Yoga Wellness Center, where she integrates evidence-based yoga, myofascial release, and sound healing to support clients in achieving long-term mobility and well-being. Jennifer is an expert in cannabis education and somatic practices, with a deep passion for nervous system regulation and the power of fascia-informed movement.
Jennifer’s work is rooted in science and personal practice. She has contributed to projects with two major health companies supporting hundreds of millions of dollars in sales. Her background includes work with Professor Raphael Mechoulam, the world-renowned scientist who discovered the endocannabinoid system, adding credibility and depth to her approach to plant medicine and wellness.
